ICT Equipment-Graphic Pads
Graphic pads are ICT (information and communication technology) presentation device optional to digital interactive whiteboards. Graphic pads are basically computer input device through which a educator ,presenter or trainer can draw images, graphics, make digital handwritten notes and navigate computer files similar to the way one draws graphics on a paper with a pencil. Graphic pads comprises of two parts, flat surface for drawing graphics and a special pen known as ‘stylus’ to draw images on that flat surface. But unlike paper, whatever a user draws on graphic pads doesn’t appear on its surface. Instead the image appears on the attached computer screen. The accessories which are commonly used with graphic pads are: puck, stylus, stylus eraser, tablet mouse, art pen and air brush.
Graphic pads are connected to a computer through a wireless Radio Frequency interface that plugs into any USB port on the computer. Radio frequency interface allows more than one graphic pads to be connected to a single system.

Teachers or Presenters no longer need to stay rooted to one place as Graphic pads are wireless. They can move easily around the classroom while delivering lessons and interacting with students. Graphic pads aid to provide simultaneous interaction between student and teacher. It can be passed around the classroom for the students to navigate to their work, add notes or annotate over resources. Some graphic pads have customizable keys, located across the top of the tablet, allowing instant access to various captivating Presentation Tool, such as Annotation Pens, Spotlight and Reveal.
